Midas, undeterred by the Dragon's awesome demeanour, stood resolute with his Gleaming energy Spear turning into another Desert Eagle that he pointed to the Dragon, taking shot after shot at critical locations to the Dragon's face, neck, chest and belly.

The Dragon, also undeterred by Midas' stance sent out even more ice-flame balls, rendering the earth beneath it into one bathed in white. Simultaneously, she controlled the flames on the floor to flow and encircle Midas, making sure that he had no place to run to.

 Midas had already experienced attacks like these and so when met with the same thing, he knew what to do and evaded them to the best of his abilities, making sure to not accrue any injuries.
