Link had said this loudly enough that everyone within the immediate area had heard him. Suddenly, even with the months of combat training and confidence building, everyone felt themselves become gripped with fear.

Murmurs laden with panic began spreading around about demons coming in and how everyone was in danger. Midas felt himself get annoyed. The demons were not there yet. As long as they calmed down enough, they should be able to weather the storm.

"Everyone, there is no use spreading panic. We have been training for this! Did we not wake up every morning for months, working on our stamina, weapon handling and combat methods?! No matter what comes, we will face it without fear!"

"So keep your fucking eyes and ears open and your chin up and listen closely! People with Sensory Skills, I want everyone to see where the dangers are coming from. If anyone spots anything, report it immediately!"
