--------------------------------------

God-level IQ, a skill brought about by Leonard's full favorability, not only enhanced his abilities but also increased his basic IQ by two points.

Additionally, his new unique skill [Brotherhood] not only prevented a decrease in favorability but also boosted his spirit.

Leonard couldn't help but notice that he felt more at ease when dealing with problems recently compared to before.

He realized that the improvement in his IQ and spirit had made him even better equipped to handle challenges.

In the meantime, Mike had also discovered the secret to increasing his favorability: treating others with sincerity.

He understood that genuine assistance and support could be more impactful than utilitarian help, resulting in a significant increase in favorability during this period.

However, when Mike looked at Sheldon's favorability, which remained at -40, he considered it a special case. Sheldon's favorability was like a formidable boss battle, the most challenging boss to defeat.

In the afternoon, Mike arrived at Sheldon's apartment in a cheerful mood.

As he entered, he noticed Sheldon wearing a peculiar expression. Puzzled, Mike asked Leonard, "Is Sheldon going crazy?"

"It's even scarier than that! Do you know what we go through every day?" Leonard exclaimed with a distressed face.

Curiosity piqued, Mike inquired, "What is it?"

"Since morning, he has been conducting a bizarre experiment on skim protein and incessantly complaining about you. He's like a buzzing mosquito, Buzz, Buzz, Buzz driving us all insane!" Leonard replied, his face filled with frustration.

Penny, standing nearby, also wore an irritated expression, as if she had swallowed a fly and was incredibly agitated.

Howard and Rajesh, standing on the other side, nodded their head like chickens in agreement.

Perplexed, Mia asked, "Why is Sheldon acting this way?"

It turned out that they had attended a reception the previous day, where they met their new boss, Professor Eric Gablehauser.

Sheldon introduced himself as "a true scientist" and began mocking Eric. As a result, Sheldon was fired by their new boss.

Mike nodded, realizing that the situation was not much different from the original plot. Gablehauser fired Sheldon from his position but was eventually re-hired due to his soft spot with Sheldon's mother, rather than Sheldon's apology, (which will never happen btw).

Feeling the need to intervene, Leonard stood up and declared to Mike, "I have to do something!" He picked up the phone, intending to call Sheldon's mother for help.

Mia watched Leonard with curiosity, contemplating whether he held any leverage over Sheldon.

Mike, feigning curiosity, asked, "Who are you calling?" knowing full well that Leonard was about to call Sheldon's mother.

Determinedly, Leonard responded, "Even if Sheldon hates it, I still have to call his mother."

"His mother?" Mike inquired.

"Yes, Sheldon listens to his mother more than anyone," Leonard replied.

"Leonard! Stop!, I've got a better idea! It will offer the best of both worlds but requires you to act as the villain."

Confused, Leonard asked, "What do you mean?"

Whispering the plan into Leonard's ear, Mike received an affirmative nod from Leonard.

He then shared his plan with Rajesh, Howard, Mia, and Penny who were standing nearby and also nodded in agreement.

They all applauded Mike's plan.

Mike said, "Let's put the plan into action!"

"Okay!" they replied in unison.

Mike entered Sheldon's room with a grin, observing Sheldon's bewildered expression.

Amused, Mike chuckled for a moment before saying, "Who did Leonard seem to be calling just now? I'm not sure, but he said that if she comes, she can solve your problem immediately."

He knew that his words would pique Sheldon's curiosity, making him wonder what Leonard had up his sleeve.

Sheldon's eyes darted left and right, his brain processing data at lightning speed, as if he were a supercomputer overclocked by caffeine.

Beads of perspiration formed on his forehead, each representing a complex algorithm he was running.

The gears in his mind spun so fast that one could almost hear them whirring.

Finally arriving at the most probable answer, a wave of dread washed over Sheldon's face as he exclaimed, "Eureka! It can only be my mother!"

Without hesitation, Sheldon hurried out of the room and spotted Leonard, still on the phone.

He stormed toward Leonard, his face flushed with anger, and exclaimed, "I am an adult! I don't need someone complaining to my mother!"

"I had no other choice. As the genius brain of a physicist, you shouldn't waste your time studying protein and glowing goldfish. I had to intervene to prevent your demise. I tried persuading you earlier, but you didn't listen. So, I had to, no- I have to call your mother!" Leonard explained, unfazed by Sheldon's tirade.

"You imbecile!" Sheldon continued to berate Leonard, but Leonard stood his ground.

At that moment, Mike approached and said, "Leonard's actions are for your own good. If you apologize to Eric, you can get your job back, and you won't have to study these trivial matters. Otherwise, we might have to call Auntie and let her persuade you."

Sheldon was still cursing and fighting back, but then Leonard picked up the phone with a determined face, and the two of them stayed in a stalemate for a while.

In the end, Sheldon couldn't hold on anymore, so he could only agree with frustration, uttering profanity under his breath.

He reluctantly agreed, feeling defeated, "Oh, for crying out loud! Fine! I yield!

With a smile, Mike assured him, "Don't worry, we'll go with you."

Sheldon defeated like a deflated rooster, accepted with a dejected nod. The remaining group shared expressions of joy.

After all, Sheldon was no longer acting crazy, and they didn't have to involve Sheldon's mother.

The following day, after completing their tasks and packing up, the group surrounded Sheldon and walked toward Eric's office.

Sheldon reluctantly apologized to Eric, his expression only fueling Eric's anger. At that moment, Mike interjected, "I believe the professor doesn't want to lose one of the brightest minds in the world. Purity of intention is essential for true researchers. I'm sure Eric, being intelligent and successful, you wouldn't want to lose such a brilliant mind. After all, there are other institutions out there that would appreciate Sheldon."

Despite his anger, Eric ultimately conceded. Under the combination of soft and hard persuasion, he agreed to reinstate Sheldon.

Eric understood Sheldon's formidable intellect, but his attempt to bring Sheldon down only revealed Sheldon's unyielding nature.

In the end, Eric had no choice but to resign in frustration.

Finally, as the group returned home victorious, Sheldon stood behind Mike and whispered, "For your assistance, I'll grant you an additional 10 points. But you must work hard! Currently, you're in the negative."

This reignited Mike's competitive spirit. Why was Sheldon so stingy with his praise?

[The God-level IQ represented the utilization of intelligence, while the basic IQ denoted one's potential and upper limits. Sheldon's IQ had reached an impressive full 10.]
