June 30th Friday.

Aubrey looked at the calendar which hung on the wall and she sighed. She has not seen Rhyland in three days.

'I wonder if his Rut is over now. Did he spend it alone?' She wondered for the 30th time before forcing herself to focus on her accounting homework.

A few minutes passed and she turned to look at her phone.

Nothing.

No messages.

Then Aubrey studied in advance for her business law exam on Monday. The plan was to visit the Archives over the weekend and she wouldn't have much time to study for her test. Dimitri had told her to prepare for a grueling 7 hour hike to get to the entrance of the Archive. And Aubrey had to admit that she was overwhelmed. Though she exercised three to four times a week she didn't have the physical fitness of an athlete by any means. She just doesn't want to weigh her teammates down. That's what they are now, a team.

Just as she was getting into studying her business law textbook the phone beside her buzzed.
