Jason winced in pain and tilted his body to the side as he jolted in shock. Hundreds of stingers embedded themselves deep into the hate reader's stomach, and flashes of neon green slowly approached him.

Sounds of primordial growling rumbled in the vicinity, and the water brushed against the hate reader's newly formed body.

"Why is it so hard for me to see my friend?" he yelled as he turned his head to face the sea pirates. "I had no beef with you before, but I guess I'll be having squid tonight."

"Grrrr," the octojellies exclaimed angrily, hating the man impeding them from their treasure. "Grrrrrr."

Hundreds of stingers flew toward his face again, but this time, Jason was more prepared. He dodged swiftly to the side and ducked with a swift kick in the water as several tens of stingers barely missed by a hair. The royal vampire readjusted his bubble helmet with a smirk and puffed his chest out with pride.
