As Marcus briefly looked over the map and stowed it away, he picked up the silver necklace that had been lying on the ground and studied it closely.

Looking at it, the necklace was a simple yet intricately designed piece of jewelry. It was silver in color with small intermingled locks connecting it into a medium sized chain. At the end of said chain was another piece of silver that showcased some bizarre looking animal Marcus had never seen before. It was a mixture between that of a wolf and a deer, with what seemed to be bat wings on its back.

Staring at the strange beast or monster portrayed on the necklace, Marcus couldn't help but wonder what this creature was, but as soon as he did so, he found himself forgetting what it was he was so concerned about with the necklace in the first place.
