Stark was suspended in mid-air, with two guards standing opposite him, wearing mocking expressions as they looked at the wealthy entrepreneur. Under normal circumstances, they wouldn't even have the privilege to approach him.A nearby table emitted an irritating sound, catching Stark's attention. His eyes lit up, realizing that his armor had been repaired.
"What an annoying thing," one of the guards, a burly man, casually threw the watch on the ground and crushed it with his foot. Stark's eyes narrowed, and in a deep voice, he said, "That watch belonged to my friend's sister. By doing this, I can only kill you."
"Hahaha!" the man burst into laughter, pointing at the bound Stark mockingly. "How are you going to kill me?"
"Like this!" Stark forcefully turned his hands, aligning his palms towards the two guards, preparing to unleash a repulsor blast as soon as his armor merged. However, as he looked at the motionless room, the smile on Stark's face gradually faded. He skeptically flipped his hands, unwilling to accept the situation.
After five minutes, a figure flew in through the window and clasped onto Stark's hand. In the astonished eyes of the man, a repulsor blast pierced through his body. The other muscular man with a ponytail quickly raised his right hand, attempting to strike Stark. However, Stark tightly gripped his wrist.
After a fierce battle, Stark broke free and made his way out of the enclosure, while the remaining parts of his armor arrived just in time to rearm him as Iron Man. The sound of helicopter blades echoed from above, and Tony looked up, spotting a helicopter flying by, accompanied by Rhodey's War Machine.
Instinctively, Stark aimed his palm towards the ground, intending to activate the armor and catch up. However, due to insufficient energy, he could only leave the base on foot.
After finishing lunch, Yi Huo took Potts to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. He had been wanting to inquire about Jane Foster's whereabouts, but lacking a good excuse, Potts conveniently served as a reason to visit S.H.I.E.L.D.
In the previous battle, Yi Huo took possession of the Tesseract, which prevented Thor and Loki from returning to Asgard. Nick Fury proposed to imprison Loki underground until the Tesseract was found, and Thor agreed to the request.
Leaving his brother behind, Thor found solace in the presence of Jane Foster. Thor felt comforted by her companionship. After hearing Heimdall's report, Odin inwardly cursed his useless son for failing to find the Space Stone. Fixing the Bifröst Bridge without the Stone would take a considerable amount of time for Asgard.
Yi Huo and Potts arrived at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, and Potts caught a glimpse of Coulson at the entrance, a hint of surprise flickering in her eyes. She remembered Tony saying that Coulson had died in the previous battle. Yi Huo stepped forward and whispered, "I want to know where Jane Foster is now. I believe Stark will be pleased to know that you've been protecting his girlfriend."
Upon hearing Yi Huo's exchange condition, Coulson maintained a unchanged smile and provided a series of addresses. With a smile, Yi Huo turned around and looked apologetically at Potts. "I'm sorry, I have some things to take care of..."
"It's alright, Yi. With Coulson here, I trust he will protect me," Potts replied, understanding the situation. She smiled and walked briskly towards Coulson, while Yi Huo quickly left the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. He instructed Elisa to search for the location information provided by Coulson, and then he recalled the details in his mind. In the next moment, a faint blue spatial portal appeared in front of Yi Huo.
Thor's eyes narrowed as he held Mjolnir, shielding Jane Foster behind him. The moment Yi Huo stepped through the portal, he was met with a surprise attack. Staring at Jane Foster with an unfriendly tone, he said, "This is not a place for you. Leave immediately!"
With that, Yi Huo used his psychic powers to lift himself and Jane Foster, flying towards a distant building. Thor furrowed his brow, pondering the power Yi Huo had displayed earlier. A sudden realization dawned upon him, and he exclaimed, "So, you're the one who took the Space Stone!"
Thor looked up and realized he was alone. He swung Mjolnir and charged towards Jane Foster. Yi Huo broke through a wall and entered a corridor, using the spatial awareness granted by the Space Stone to rush towards a fissure ahead. He arrived at a grinding stone and used his psychic powers to cover the flowing liquid inside, storing it in his backpack.
As the Reality Stone was lost, the surrounding space began to collapse. With a single thought, Yi Huo emitted a faint blue light and instantly returned to the villa. Once again, he applauded his past choice. Meanwhile, Stark remotely controlled his armor and arrived at the fortress in the sky, rescuing the remaining generals inside.
The original body followed Rhodey, tracing the signal of the War Machine to a ship. Seeing the leader suspended in the air, Rhodey's face turned cold as he drew his gun and swiftly infiltrated the enemy's headquarters. Without Potts as a restraint, Stark acted without hesitation, allowing J.A.R.V.I.S. to command the Iron Legion, unleashing chaos and destruction.
Watching Stark don the armor and leave, a hint of envy appeared on Rhodey's face. He then shifted his gaze to the War Machine worn by the president and hurriedly approached beneath the chains. Aldrich, who had ingested the Extremis , performed a bare-handed dismantling of the armor in front of Stark.
The materials used for the Iron Legion this time were slightly inferior to those carefully crafted armors, making it somewhat challenging to face Aldrich. However, each time Aldrich sustained an injury, he inched closer to death. The Extremis virus, while healing the body, also caused the user to lose control, eventually resulting in spontaneous combustion.
Stark, using his armor, managed to deplete Kieran's strength and defeat him with a pulse blast. The next day, news broke of the arrest of the vice ptesident. Simultaneously, in a concealed spaceship within a meteor zone in the cosmos, Malekith, sensing the Aether particles, awakened from his slumber. Just as he was about to investigate the exact location, he lost the signal.
"What's going on? How did the Aether particles disappear? Could someone have resealed it?"
Malekith furrowed his brow and looked at his deputy. After a discussion, the two decided to investigate the last known location of the signal.
After conducting investigations inside the factory for three days, Jane Foster found everything to be normal and returned to the RV somewhat dissatisfied. Both of them exchanged glances and simultaneously thought of Yi Huo.
A month later, Jane Foster arrived in front of the villa with Thor and lightly knocked on the door. With a soft creak, the door opened, and Thor instinctively stood in front of Jane Foster. They entered the living room and looked at the figure sitting on the couch. Thor spoke first.
"Was it you who took the Cosmic Cube earlier?"
Yi Huo raised an eyebrow and somewhat discontentedly replied, "Mind your words, son of Odin! I absorbed that thing using my own abilities. How can you use the word 'snatch'?"
Thor's eyes flickered, and the energy emanating from Yi Huo earlier made him feel as if he were facing his father. They had met a few times before, and Thor was certain that Yi Huo hadn't been this powerful. Thor's face revealed an incredulous expression as he whispered,
"So, you really merged with a gem..."
