Before the meeting ended, Vanessa arrived with the report of how many professionals were willing to go with them. She claimed that she had convinced the doctors to come, leaving a few people specializing in emergency treatments in the valley.
Many of the doctor's specializations were useless anyway without equipment, and Alterra had shown they had the capability to provide them with better tools.
However, Vanessa implied that the doctors would only come if she led them. Althea looked deeply at the woman.
Her husband owed Henry and Victor a lot, with the former being his mentor, while the latter saving his life.
But Althea didn't have such gripes.
"Vanessa, to manage your expectations, Alterra is not like Fargo. Unlike here, you'll be an employee like everyone else," Althea said, "You'll be one of the two healers already there, and will not be treated more specially than they do."
Next chapters will focus on building Limestone Valley~ Dunworry about that one. It'll remain under Althea's hands forever, so we can invest LOL
