章節 89: Made me feel low

Jia Li couldn't focus on the work as she felt something was wrong. Chen Xin wasn't in the palace and when she asked her mother about it, she wasn't aware of it. 

"Did the Crown Prince not tell anything to you?" Jia Li asked Eunuch Yuhan. 

"Sadly, no, Your Royal Highness. I was told that he has an important work related to the revenue in the neighboring city," Eunuch Yuhan asserted. 

"Hmm." Jia Li put down the brush on the inkstone slab and looked at Court Lady Xuan. "Please send these to the Ministry of Public Works. Rest of the work, I'll do tomorrow," she stated and left her seat. She came out of the study chamber while the Court Lady followed her. 

"The Crown Princess is missing her husband already," Court Lady Xuan remarked. 

"It feels strange. I never got such kind of feeling before," Jia Li confided with the Court Lady.
