章節 3: Chapter 3: New Home

Tekku stood outside the Konoha Hospital, his gaze fixed on the bustling streets of the village. After days of recovery and healing, he was finally being released into the world anew. Or rather, a completely new world for him, based on the perspective he took. The sun cast its warm rays upon him, symbolizing a fresh beginning, as he took a deep breath, ready to embrace his new life.

A Chunin-ranked shinobi approached him, a small package in hand. The shinobi's face bore a kind smile, a reflection of the village's unwavering support for its people. "Tekku, I am Kotetsu Hagane. I have been assigned to assist you in your transition. Congratulations on your recovery. Here is your new apartment key and your first allowance."

Tekku's eyes widened in gratitude as he accepted the package. It was a tangible symbol of his independence, a key that unlocked a world of possibilities. He couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through his veins. Also, he recognized Kotetsu, one of the two iconic Main Gate guards in the future.

Kotetsu continued with his explanation, "Your apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood not far from the Academy. It's a modest space, but it will be yours to make into a home. Your allowance will help cover your basic needs as you settle in."

"Thank you very much for your time, Kotetsu-san," said Tekku to the Chunin.

The Chunin nodded in encouragement to the young boy, "Don't sweat it. It's my mission to help you today. Come, I will show you to your apartment."

Kotetsu gestured for Tekku to follow as they made their way through the vibrant streets of Konoha. They weaved through the unfamiliar neighborhoods with the familiar architecture Tekku recognized from the manga and anime, the village's harmonious atmosphere providing a sense of comfort and reassurance. As he took in the sights of the village he previously only knew from the village.

After a short walk, they arrived at a quaint apartment complex nestled in a peaceful corner of the village. "Here you go, Tekku. This is your new home. It may not be grand, but it's a cozy place where you can start afresh." As they entered the building and climbed a flight of stairs, Kotetsu continued to offer guidance and support.

"This apartment is modest, but it has everything you need," Kotetsu explained as they reached Tekku's designated unit. "A bedroom, a small kitchenette, and a living area. It's up to you to make it your own."

Seeing his new apartment, Tekku was happy that he now had a space for himself. Kotetsu stood by Tekku's side, his voice filled with encouragement. "Take your time settling in, Tekku. Make it a space where you feel comfortable and inspired. Remember, this apartment represents a new beginning for you."

Tekku turned to Kotetsu, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Kotetsu-san. I will do my best to make it my own and create a space that truly feels like home."

"I have no doubt you will. To get to the Ninja Academy, you will just have to continue down the road. You won't be able to miss it," continued the Chunin, "The next semester starts on the first day of the next month. You will have to visit them before that to finish all of the paperwork and receive your student equipment."

"Okay, thank you, Kotetsu-san. I will complete that this week," nodded the boy. After learning a bit more about the neighborhood and the different shops in the area, the Chunin completed his task.

As Kotetsu bid farewell and left Tekku to settle into his new space, a surge of excitement and motivation filled Tekku's heart. He stood in the middle of his empty apartment, envisioning the possibilities that lay ahead.

Tekku found himself standing in the unfamiliar corridors of the Ninja Academy, a sense of quiet anticipation hanging in the air. Today marked an important step in his journey as a shinobi—a day of paperwork, registration, and receiving the tools necessary for his studies. Taking a deep breath, he prepared himself for the tasks that lay ahead.

As Tekku looked around, he noticed a friendly-faced Chunin with a scar that runs across the bridge of his nose approaching him. The nameplate on his uniform identified him as Umino Iruka, a dedicated teacher of the academy. Even without the nameplate, Tekku recognized the young man, even in real life, he was easily recognizable with that scar and his standard hair.

"Hello there," Iruka greeted Tekku with a warm smile. "You must be here for your registration."

Tekku politely returned the smile, feeling a sense of comfort in Iruka's presence. "Yes, I am. My name is Tekku, and I'm excited to start my journey on the path of a shinobi. I was told I had to visit the Academy to complete my registration."

Iruka's eyes lit up with genuine interest. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Tekku. Let's get your registration done and make sure you're all set for your studies."

Guiding Tekku to a designated area with desks and neatly organized paperwork, Iruka began the process of filling out the necessary forms. He explained each section carefully, ensuring Tekku understood the details and provided accurate information.

Once the paperwork was completed, Iruka handed Tekku a stack of books, his schedule, and a set of writing materials. "Here are your study materials, Tekku. These books contain essential knowledge and teachings that will serve as the foundation of your education. Your schedule outlines the upcoming classes, training sessions, and any additional activities."

Iruka smiled, sensing Tekku's eagerness. "These materials will be your companions as you embark on your journey as a shinobi. Embrace them, study them diligently, and they will guide you on your path."

Tekku nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Iruka-sensei. I appreciate your guidance. What about Kunai and Shuriken? Aren't they one of the basic tools of a shinobi?"

Iruka's smile widened. "You're welcome, Tekku. You will receive them during lessons in the Academy. The standard curriculum goes for 6 years. During your second year, you will have to complete an accuracy test. From then on, you will receive your own set of Shuriken and Kunai and also the permission to buy them in any weapon store. If you have any other questions or need assistance during your time here, don't hesitate to reach out to me or any of the academy staff. We're here to support you every step of the way."

Nodding in understanding, as it would be bad if untrained students ran around with weapons, "I will keep that in mind, Iruka-sensei. I'm determined to do my best."

Iruka's eyes gleamed with encouragement. "That's the spirit, Tekku! Remember to embrace every challenge and learn from every experience."

Back in the confines of his small apartment, Tekku carefully arranged the stack of books he had received during his registration at the Ninja Academy. Excitement mingled with curiosity as he scanned the titles, his genius mind eager to delve into the knowledge that awaited him. Finally, he could learn Chakra and begin his path to greatness.

The first book caught his attention—it was a comprehensive guide on mathematics, an essential skill not only for Shinobi but for anyone. Tekku flipped through the pages, absorbing the various equations and problem-solving techniques. With his solid foundation in mathematics and science, he had no problem understanding the contents of the books. With the memories and genius mind of Dr. Gero, this was easy. Since they were targeted at children at the age of six, it was a joke for him. Mathematics wouldn't be something he would have trouble with during his time at the Academy, as he was far beyond their level.

Next, he picked up a book titled "History of the Elemental Nations." With great interest, he delved into the rich tapestry of the past, learning about the origins of the ninja clans, the warring states period, the rise of the great villages, and the legendary figures who shaped the world he now called home. The stories within were both inspiring, humbling, and informative. The feats of the previous Hokages and figures like Madara Uchiha gave him a general understanding of the strength level in this world, filling in a lot of the blanks about the past of the Elemental Nations, since even the Naruto Manga left a lot open, especially before the Manga started.

Another book caught his eye—it was titled "Shinobi: The Fundamentals." Opening it, Tekku discovered a treasure trove of information about the fundamental concepts and principles of being a shinobi. He absorbed the chapters on stealth, reconnaissance, traps, and mission protocols, realizing that these skills would be the backbone of his future survival. But he didn't find anything about Chakra, besides some casual references without a guide on how to actually use it.

Tekku's excitement peaked when he came across a book on "Academy Taijutsu Style." He eagerly studied the illustrations and explanations of the various forms and movements. He could already imagine himself practicing these techniques, honing his physical prowess as a shinobi-in-training. The book also had a quite expansive explanation of basic workout routines to build a strong and fit foundation for a shinobi.

However, as he reached the end of his collection, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment. There was no book dedicated to Chakra and its secrets. Tekku understood the gravity of Chakra and the potential dangers it posed if released to the civilian public. It was a power that required proper training and guidance, and it seemed the academy had chosen to withhold that knowledge for the time being.

Though he yearned to understand more about Chakra and unlock its mysteries, Tekku acknowledged the wisdom behind this decision. The protection of untrained civilians and the preservation of secrecy were paramount. He reminded himself that he was still at the beginning of his journey, and as he progressed through the academy, he would undoubtedly gain access to the knowledge of Chakra and learn to wield it responsibly.

Still, he couldn't wait to learn more about it. And he already had a few ideas of what he hoped to accomplish with it. His past life knowledge gave him quite a lot of inspiration, but to do anything with these ideas, he would need to study Chakra thoroughly.

After finishing the last book, he was a bit disappointed about the small amount of information. It was only a read of an afternoon for him, but understandable since the target audience was children and not a genius with doctorates in multiple fields of science. At least he believed he had the title for the first book of a future series of books on science. "Physics for Shinobi."

Tekku closed the books and sat in silence for a moment, contemplating his next steps. He knew he had much to learn, both within the academy and beyond. But with his determination and the knowledge he already possessed, he was confident that he would make great strides on his journey to become a formidable shinobi.

With a sense of purpose burning within him, Tekku stood up, ready to face the challenges that awaited him. The journey ahead would be arduous, but he was determined to make the most of it. His future as a shinobi was just beginning, and he was eager to carve his path in this new world.
