"Don't worry about them, child; you belong here. You belong with us." The lady in the photo said, but Nana became enraged and drew the knife she was carrying.

"You damnable werewolf, how dare you claim control of her?" Nana's eyes were filled with wrath, as if she had a thing with the woman in the photo, who, as far as I could tell, has no fear of the knife in Nana's hands.

Nana had described her as a werewolf. It was in her aura, and it radiated from her personality.

Werewolves lacked fear, and this female lacked it severely.

"Why are you so worried about that waistband?" she inquired.

I narrowed my eyes as I watched the action unfold in front of me, but suddenly I felt someone tug at my shoulders.

Alpha Cedrick was tugging on my shoulders and calling my name to rouse me from my deep sleep.

I jerked awake to the real world this time to meet Alpha Cedric's penetrating gaze.
