After discovering about his mother's past,Kuki asked her to give him guidance in using his Kekkei Tota because her clan's kekkei Genkai seems to have some similar properties to his Steel release.
"Listen Kuki,My clan's technique is mainly focused on changing the form of mercury to serve different purposes,although I'm not completely sure about potential of your steel release,I could help you learn how to form into various shapes"Kuki's mother said to her son while molding a small amount of mercury in her hands into various shapes.
"Firstly,as you know,shinobis uses hand seals to aid them in the process of molding chakra for Justus,each nature of chakra have a signature hand seals.For example ,the tiger hand seal is the signature hand seal necessary for fire justus.Similar to that,our clan's mercury release uses a triangle hand seal,this quickens the process of molding our chakra and improves our precision"she explained as she make a triangle with her hands.
The mercury floating that was only forming basic shapes abruptly turned into the shape of an intricate bonsai tree."That's grandpa's bonsai tree!" Kuki said with widened eyes.
"As you can see,without the triangle seal,I could only form my mercury into simple shapes but the second that the seal is active,I could make complicated shapes such as your grandfather's bonsai."Kuki's mother said with a smile.
After teaching her son one of the Ansatsu clan's major secrets so casually,she had Kuki practice using the triangle seal to mold his gray chakra as she gave him pointers along the way.
As Kuki gradually becomes better at making difficult shapes,his mother smiles as sweat drips down her forehead thinking about how monstrous her son's learning pace is compared to younglings from her former clan.
"I may have unleashed a talent that would shake the world to its core in the future.."she thought to herself as Kuki kept making weirdly shaped Hanabi dolls out of steel.Fortunately for Kuki,his mother was too busy thinking about his talent that she failed to notice him producing awkward looking Hanabi merchandise.
__Three months later in the land of earth__
Samurai captain Isane and his subordinates,Higeki and his comrades were returning to the land of iron after finishing their diplomatic duties in the land of earth.
"Are we there yet~?"Higeki nagged at his best friend and captain Isane with an annoyingly exaggerated tone ,like a child being bored on a family road trip.
"I know you want to see your family Higeki.But for god's sake,stop nagging me we're only a few hours away!"Isane replied in extreme annoyance at his best friend who is way too much of a family-con.
As the two of them were chatting along,all of a sudden,one of Isane's samurai bursted into his and Higeki's carriage abruptly. "Captain!Our carriages are being blocked!"the samurai said with urgency.
"Huh?We're being blocked?What's their number and who are they?"Isane asked his subordinate.
"There's only one person,he's wearing a hidden hot water ninja headband,he wants to see you captain"The samurai said.
Isane looked at Higeki while Higeki looked at Isane,they both nodded with a serious expression and then stepped out of their carriage.
Just as they stepped out,they heard a commotion at the front of their formation.They quickly ran closer,just to witness that their comrades were engaging in combat with a young man with gray hair wearing a fluffy sweater and a ninja headband with the hidden hot water village's symbol.
He was fending off two samurai's attacks simultaneously with a scythe with three big red blades.
