__three hours later__
After Kuki discovered his Kekkei Tota,he decided to call it steel release and experimented with it for a awhile.He found that the denser that he made the cluster of gray chakra when he uses steel release,the more resilient it would become.
He tested this by creating steel rocks of the same size with different densities.Not only that,he found that if the density is low enough,the steel becomes quite brittle, and when it is as dense as he could get it,it is significantly heavier.
While he wanted to do more tests,the sun was setting so he reluctantly went home,he didn't want his family to worry.
That night, after Higeki got back from Samurai duties he sat down to have dinner with his family.Everyone was enjoying Kuki's mother's cooking while happily chatting away about what happened during their day,Higeki was bragging about being assigned to an important expedition to the land of earth,Kuki's mother talked about a gossip going around town and Higeki's father was talking about his bonsai trees while Kuki was on his lap enjoying a bowl of miso soup.
"Umm… I have something to announce"Kuki quietly said, causing his family to stop their conversation and look towards him.
"What is it dear?"Kuki's mother said with a faint and affectionate smile.
"Mom,Dad,Grandpa…..I have a Kekkei Tota-"Kuki said timidly.
"Ehhhhh??!?"Higeki gasped at his son's outrageous statement.
"What do you mean by that Kuki?"The old man asked with a calm tone while his mother's face darkened.
"This"Kuki said and did three hand seals and then shouted "Steel release" only to open up his right hand revealing a cherry sized piece of steel on his palm.
"You inherited it too…."Kuki's mother said which confused Kuki as his father and grandpa nodded.His mother continued "We were planning to tell you this when you're old enough,I guess it's too late for that…" as soon as she finished,she quickly made three hand seals with last on being a triangle hand sign which Kuki have never seen before.
"Mercury release:poison needle"she said as something started to form floating in front of her,it was liquid like and metallic looking.After it finished forming,the object floating in midair was in the shape of a needle.
Kuki stared at the floating mercury needle with a puzzling expression.
"I was from a clan of assassins in the hidden mist,the Ansatsu clan,this is our kekkei genkai,a combination of water nature and earth nature,we call it mercury release.Our main form of income was assinating with poisoning since mercury causes poisoning when it enters your body.I was sick and tired of that despicable way of life,so I ran away to the land of iron and was caught by a samurai patrolling the border.The samurai that caught me was your father, Higeki Uragiru."Kuki's mother explained.
"Hehe,at the time your mother looked like a lost kitten so I couldn't help but to take her in"Higeki said in a boastful tone.
"Oh?Weren"t you just captivated because of my charm my dear husband?"Kuki mother's chuckled as Higeki looked away in embarrassment
"While I was expecting you to awaken mercury release later on,I wasn't expecting you to manifest a Kekkei Tota, son.Haiz…maybe I did birth a genuine prodigy…I'm sure that you'll awaken mercury release too eventually"His mother signed.
As Higeki was smiling boastfully as usual,Kuki's grampa had a proud expression, Kuki was sitting there thinking about the endless possibilities to grow his power!
