Alea was an incredibly talented woman.
From a very early age, she displayed remarkable skills that instantly impressed her parents. Dancing, playing instruments, martial arts, marksmanship, horsemanship, chess – you name it, she excelled at it. She was a true prodigy, in every sense of the word.
Her parents' constant admiration and praise nurtured her talents, but it also inflated her ego. While not as extreme as Lola's, Alea developed a bit of a superiority complex. She saw herself as someone special simply because of her talents. And to some extent, she was right – she was indeed special.
However, what young Alea failed to realize was that the world was full of special people, each with their unique talents and gifts. She was so engrossed in her own abilities that she didn't notice the brilliance in others.
