The police officers arrived at the house and started their investigation.

"Do you think this was what Jasmine was talking about?" Erika asked him.

"I think the same too", he replied. He received another call and this time it was from an unknown number. Could that old man be calling with this number? He wondered.

He picked up the call and waited for the person to speak first.

"Ethan, it's me, Jasmine," Jasmine introduced. Ethan glanced at Erika and mouthed to her 'It's Jasmine' and the latter nodded in understanding. "How is Erika? Is she okay?" She asked.

"Yes, she is," Ethan replied. "Where are you?"

Jasmine sighed before she replied,

"My dad has locked me up in the house after he found out I had proof against him and he won't let me leave".

Ethan frowned on hearing that Mr. Davis had locked up his daughter just because she was about to do the right thing. The old man is becoming too persistent, Ethan thought to himself.
