"Don't you ever lecture me, woman? I will get both Ethan and Jasmine married to each other when the time is right", he spat in her ears, as if wanting the words to zinc in. "Neither you nor those Andersons would do anything to stop me, do you understand?" He demanded.

Even though Mrs. Davis didn't understand her husband's intention, she nodded her head nevertheless so that he could finally let go of her hair.

"Good", he said. "Now make sure to invite Ethan to the mansion as much as possible and make sure that the two of them get along, do you hear me?" he demanded and she nodded her head in response. Mr Davis pulled her hair hard one last time before throwing her on the bed.

The next day, Mrs. Anderson visited the Davis mansion with Ethan as per Mrs. Davis's request so that the children could get to know each other more.

"Please come in", Mrs. Anderson welcomed the mother and son. "Wait here, let me go call Jasmine okay?" She said to both of them.
