"How did it go?" Joker asked as soon as Hera entered the front passenger's seat. Seeing her expression, that was enough for him to get his answer. "Well, never mind."

Joker shrugged as he started the engine, ready to drive themselves back to the building where they landed earlier. But just as he started driving, Hera spoke. 

"Give me your phone," she said, earning a quick look from him. "I need to call Dominic."

"Uh…" Joker pondered. "Why?"

"Do I have to answer to you now?"

"No, but I don't think that's a good idea."

Hera clasped her hand and then massaged her temple. "I know it's a bad idea to contact him, but I have to."

"Hera." Joker's expression turned solemn, keeping his eyes on the windshield. "What happened in there?"
