As soon as Dominic and Axel reached the former's office, Ivy was waiting for him in the lobby. She rose from her seat, only to notice that Dominic didn't even look in her direction. 

"Dom," she called, rushing to follow him. "We have to talk."

"Not interested."

Ivy clicked her tongue, almost jogging as his pace was big and hurried. "Hear me out, okay?"

"No." 

"Dominic Zhu." Ivy stopped, watching Dominic and Axel continue their way. "Are you really going to do this? You know I have other means to force you to talk."

Slowly, Dominic slowed down until he stopped. He drew a deep breath, huffing it out before turning around to face her. 

"Miss Wei, I'm sure you already know the reason…" he trailed off as he felt a vibration in his chest. "Give me a moment."
