A moment of silence followed Dominic's remarks as Heaven furrowed her brows. She slowly put down the glass of whiskey, her eyes still on him.

"Why do you say so?" she asked, only to see him shrug.

"I'm not sure about it, but Wolf called me today. He was asking me about Ram, telling me he hadn't heard from him for quite some time," Dominic explained coolly. "I haven't heard from Ram as well. He was supposed to attend the anniversary, but then told me something came up. That's the last time I heard from him."

"And you're guessing he's in danger because he's now missing in action? Darling, Ram is quite busy. He's the president of a country."
