"Don't look at me like that, Dom," Heaven uttered emotionlessly, doing her quick makeup in the front passenger seat while her husband drove her to the company. "Blame the human's primal instinct. My husband is temptation incarnate. Can you blame me?"
Dominic chuckled as he glanced at her before setting his eyes on the road. "You should admit that the last one was hot."
Heaven rolled her eyes as she stopped applying her sunscreen, casting him a look. Dominic arched a brow, observing her from the corner of his eye.
"Fine," she said, setting her eyes on the mirror. "That was hot and amazing, but then, I'm late."
"It's not like Mr. Yang will kill you."
"Seriously?" She looked back at him with a dead expression. "Mr. Yang won't kill me, but he'll give me an earful. He won't stop the entire day. Same thing."
"Fine. Do you need me to pull some strings?"
"My love, that is so nice of you."
"Sarcasm?"
