Both men couldn't fight back, knowing running while carrying the children and keeping in mind Sebastian and Riley were injured would stress the children's injuries. All they could do was make sure not to stress the children's injuries and watch Heaven fight the enemies that were coming out of nowhere. 

Hadn't they finished everyone on their way here? How about Gray? That guy stayed behind. Did he die? That's why these enemies were coming from the direction they came from. Myriads of questions invaded Dominic and Axel's minds, but Heaven couldn't entertain such thoughts at the moment.
