"Basti!" Just then, Heaven's voice echoed in the master's bedroom. When Dominic looked back, all he saw was Heaven marching inside and Axel following behind her. 

"My god! Basti, you made us all worried!" Heaven gasped as soon as she jumped on the bed. "Why didn't you tell your uncle you're going here?"

Sebastian maintained an adorable and innocent smile. "Sorry, Mommy. It's just that I felt sleepy, but Uncle is reading super loud! I didn't mean to worry Mommy, and I did plan to come back, but this bed is very soft."

Dominic listened to how his son apologized and explained his side to his mother. However, he couldn't shrug off this restlessness in his heart. Something was definitely off, and Dominic was right because Sebastian's next words killed all the expressions on his face. 

"Mommy, I like this bed. Can I sleep here tonight?" Sebastian flashed his mother the sweetest smile, making Heaven's breath hitch at his level of cuteness.
