"What's wrong with you?" Beth pulled Fiona down into a seat. She couldn't believe she was the one acting irrationally. "You almost blew your cover. If you're not happy for her, how is she supposed to trust that you're a friend and not a foe?"
Fiona rolled her eyes. "I am not a friend to that thief. That role is supposed to be mine. I am supposed to be the brand ambassador for Pierson Skincare. She doesn't even have the talent or beauty to go with it."
Beth sighed. This wasn't going the way she wanted. If Fiona gave up on anything because of an ambassador gig, then their plans would be all useless. Beth casually waved her hand. "Who cares about one brand ambassadorship? There are still so many opportunities to come, so why would we focus on that one?"
Fiona stared at her, but she could tell that she already had her attention.
