"How many times have you been trying to get through it?" Sasha asked as she went on all four to recover her strength.

"I have lost count. "But the weird thing is that thing isn't trying to take over my body. Its sole purpose is to protect whatever is behind it," he added as he turned around and helped Sasha get up.
