Neo opened his eyes, calm and collected.
"How long was I practicing?" He asked as there wasn't any sun or anything that could help him tell the time. He took out his holographic phone and looked, only to remember that everything in the dimensional portal had its time frozen.
"Must have passed a day at least."
Blaze moved around, his muscles produced a cracking sound.
"Let's check this."
He said as he put one unallocated point into the strength to see if his body strengthened or not.

And it did. He tried with others and found that every stat has been strengthened except for the stats Luck, Perception, and Wisdom.
He stretched a little before using [Aether Manipulation] on some essence spheres before thinking about it and trying to use the skill like he was manipulating flames and spread it around, but it failed.
He had to gather all the spheres before turning the green ones into the [Tower coin] while keeping the others there as even with the green, that took most of the space, taken out, he still had a lot of other spheres and Neo learned that the things in here doesn't disappear, so he let them be here for now, while putting some of them into his dimensional storage.
After being done with everything, took a break unlike before where he wanted to reach higher floors. Because of too much pain, the mental fatigue built up. It could be removed with the Breathing Technique, but Neo wanted to have a nice nap.
So they went back to the city, killing the little monsters that just wanted to die along the way. He found an inn and booked a room. After a meal, he entered the room that cost him 10 Skycoins for 7 days.
He also asked the owner what day it was and received a weird expression from everyone but didn't care and found out that it hadn't been a day since he entered the tower.
He arrived in his room, lost in thought, thinking about how that could be possible, but then contributed it to the Tower powers that could help it do such things. What he didn't expect was for the Twin Towers to do the same. (A/N Celestia-Abyssal Tower AKA Twin Towers, because they looked like two towers stuck together.)
He was pretty tired and went to bed, where he slept like a log.

Soft footsteps came from the corridor as two figures wearing cloaks moved around the second floor where the guests stayed. They entered the room right next to them and sat down on the bed and sighed. "Today was a bust."
The other figure nodded as it said, "We should look for someone who can help us with the last fight."
"But who could resist the temptation of such a thing?"
"Sigh, you are right. So we just have to keep trying. But not much time is left. If we can't clear it tomorrow, then I'll have to ask someone from the family to help."
The other figure turned silent upon hearing that. It was silent for more than a minute before it spoke. "Then we'll try our best tomorrow."

Morning.
Neo woke up and was looking at an unfamiliar ceiling.

Neo looked at its stats and other than its health, there was nothing impressive about it. Neo's status has changed a bit as his Nether and Divine energy reservoir increased a lot when he was practicing the body strengthening technique and now his new Nether Energy and Divine Energy limit reached 800.

Blaze was a little annoyed, and formed two swords (One Black and One White) as he walked toward the huge bear who, upon seeing an intruder in its territory, roared and charged toward him.

Blaze said as he let Neo handle the bear. Seeing the monster charge at him, Neo accelerated as he dodged its swipe attack by jumping and slashing at its back.

A veiled figure could be seen rushing toward a direction, slightly out of breath, but it didn't slow down a bit and kept on going.
"What kind of person attacks on slight notice?" The veiled figure spoke to itself, her voice a little feminine. She was the one who survived Blaze's attack and fled the area.
After running for a while, she arrived in a cave that was hidden because of the topography of the area. She entered the cave where another veiled figure was sitting, thinking about something, but its thought process was interrupted by the huffing and puffing figure.
"Mira, what happened to you?" The other veiled figure spoke, its voice as gender-neutral, which made it difficult to tell who it was.
"Lady Myra, you won't believe what I saw." Mira, the panting one, spoke as she took a deep breath and recounted Neo's fight with the floor boss.
Myra, the other veiled figure, was listening to all the calming and then Mira spoke, "As he was distracted with the mana core, I used an [Inspect]. The next thing I saw was a blood-red spike coming in my direction."
Myra stood up and checked on her, but saw no signs of injury. She also heaved a relief breath and said, "His inspection skill level is higher than yours."
Mira nodded before he shared the status of Neo, but everything had question marks other than his level that showed that his.
"But Lady Myra, He fought the floor boss with ease and when it roared, that boy became irritated and a plunged a spike in it mouth telling it to shut up."
Myra nodded, as there were a lot of powerful people in the tower, so Neo was not the first one, but his level was a little too little to make him deal with the monster with such ease.

Myra was silent and after a while she sighed a helpless breath and said, "We already tried it too many times and still weren't able to complete it. It's him or the family now."

It was a little expensive, but as he could afford it. The receptionist took him to the meat factory and asked one of the butchers to teach Neo how to process a monster.
The butcher had a robust figure standing 6'4 tall with black hair and mean eyes. He looked at Neo menacingly, but Neo was calm as he saw the butcher was a normal person, an unevolved, and he could eat dozens of them for dinner.
The butcher, after seeing that Neo was not intimidated, nodded in satisfaction and started guiding him on how to process a corpse. It took him over 5 hours to learn the basics, which was only because Blaze had to step in and got the approval of the butcher, otherwise it would've taken Neo days before he could reach the bare minimum.

Neo said his goodbye to the butcher and the receptionist. And again walked out of the city, this time determined to go to the second floor. But he stopped as he saw two figures in cloaks standing in front of him.
A blade formed in Neo's hand, ready to strike, when he heard a voice.
