"I think it is time I leave to find some water for you. The weather is hot and you must be thirsty from your fight. There was some in your tent," Annalise said, leaving first to go to his tent.
"Yes, let's go to my tent," Rafael said, following her.
There were too many eyes on them right now and he wanted to get a proper answer out of her without being interrupted. He was growing tired of his one-sided feelings especially now that he was seeing evidence that Annalise liked him or maybe she was just attracted to him.
Annalise regretted telling Rafael she would be going to his tent because she could feel him hot on her tail right now. Why couldn't he just focus on the contest and leave her alone? Why did he need to follow her now?
She would like to get rid of her thoughts about him and forget about his scent that felt stuck in her nose. It was like the wind picked up his slightly sweaty scent and kept circling around her saying, 'Smell it!"
