VISITING PASTOR RAMON
In the hot afternoon sun, Jack found himself standing at the entrance of the old, weathered church. Although his mother was a member of the church, Jack and his siblings including his father were miles away from the church.
This will be his second time coming to the church. First was when he was just six years old and had a childlike curiosity to see Christ. He was told by Salvador, a childhood friend. Salvador had bragged to him that he had encountered Christ in the church. It made Jack enthusiastic to see Christ too. He begged his mother and was very happy when she agreed to bring him to church. He was expecting to see a man with blue eyes and blond hair and a light glow emitting from his body.
Young Jack was disappointed when he saw it was only a statue of Christ that was placed in front of the church. Ever since that day, he vowed never to go to church.
