章節 135: He's not so innocent

He gave me a once over as his eyes took me in. He started from my face before he went down to my body, and finally to my face as he narrowed his eyes to slits. I don't know what it was that he noticed about me that made me suddenly sit up, "are you from Amal?" He asked, stunning me to my bones. Not only by his question but how less scared he looked. 

"Why do you think so?" I gently asked, trying not to spook him. He looks so fragile, it makes me think he might break should I not handle him with care.

"The mark," he pointed to the side of my face, causing me to touch the birthmark on my face with a frown.

It's a heart-shaped red mark that has been on my face since I was born.

Why the damned hell will he recognize where the Brys of this kingdom came from, just from my birthmark?

What relationship has my birthmark to do with the people of Amal? Could it be that there's more to this mission than meets the eye?
