As much as the shock of finding out my first child would be a girl still overwhelmed me, I was met by another shock, to see Silvia's mother pinned to the floor by none other than Penelope.

"Penelope?" I echoed, the woman took her eyes off her struggling prey and shifted her attention to Kian and I. A relived smile painted her lips.

The retrieval department took over and captured Silvia's mother, I watched as Kian's eyes followed the woman as she was dragged away to meet with her husband.

"It's so good to see you both together again! Everyone was worried." Penelope said, sprinting over to us.

"Like hell! What in the blazing fuck are you doing here?"

She straightened her clothes, "A little seer pointed me in the right direction." She said, referring to Wendy…Valerie actually.

Kian raised a brow, "A seer?" He seemed genuinely surprised that we knew a seer, something that didn't sit in well with me.
