Gem started to become more intimate as there relationship progressed.
She was naked snuggling down with him and was now laying across his chest with one leg resting across his lap.
Alexander kissed the top of her head and kept his nose there for a moment.She quietly mewled as Alexander asked"If you had a chance to become an ISO would you take it?"
ISOs differed from Basic programs in their appearance and capabilities, but their uniqueness lay in their code base. They were said to be different due to them not being programmed or controlled by functions, protocols and the need for purpose. While regular programs conform to the rigid structure defined by their users, ISOs had evolved, complete with a genetic code of sorts that even Kevin Flynn could scarcely comprehend. This inner structure of their code would potentially have allowed ISOs to develop beyond the capabilities of regular programs.
Gem yawned and looking at Alexander curiously questioned"Why ask this all of a sudden?"
Alexander shrugged and answered"Just curious."
Gem seriously said"I would take it,I want to have there freedom and not get restricted to my functions or protocols."
Gem envied them befoe the purge.While Alexander looked into her eyes and said"Maybe I can do it for you."
Gem was shocked and asked"You can really do that?"
Gem eyebrows raised in surprise and shock,she then asked"How?"
Alexander explained"I have to change your code base with help of your data disk."he saw she was worried about her changing fully,so he added"It won't change who you are or how you act.It just change your inner structure code that would potentially allows you to develop beyond the capabilities of regular programs."
Gem quickly took her Data disk from the nighstand and gave it to Alexander saying"Do it."
Alexander took her disc in his hands and began to manipulate it and said"This would cause you to be out for while."
Gem shook her head and replied"I have no issue with that."
He was still working on her disc.A holograph suddenly flickered above Gem's disc.Alex looking at Gem nodded,as she slowly fell asleep.
Alexander got all the information from Clu archives,it was fun to hack into it.While Clu hated ISO's,but he studied them and wanted to be them at the start.But his inability to accept the fact he could never be like them or he was below them made him go rogue.
He concentrated, worked a few more minutes, and finally cracked the code. The disc opened like a makeup compact. Light flooded the bridge of the sailer with kaleidoscopic torrents of color.
Alexander watched as a holographic grid appeared all over Gem's body.Her whole body started become a glowing mass. Then pixels began to re-form around the grid lines.
Alexander waited and he heard a groan.Gem was waking up, she looked at herself and muttered"I feel different, but at same time I am the same."
ISOs' ability to quickly grasp patterns such as analogies, swiftly building knowledge despite lacking preprogrammed directives, which makes them unimaginably wise.
Alexander smiled and added"I made sure to cloak your codes as normal, since we do not want others looking closely to you."
Gem looked at her arm glowing symbol hexagonal benzene ring and sideways T.
