章節 97: Chapter 97 - Why Did You Let Me Die?

Almost there, just a bit further and we should be at the Unity mansion...I should hurry, the sun will start to rise soon, I want to start heading back to Staex before daybreak, while the streets are still mostly empty. 

I took some clothes off the people I killed, but with my wig destroyed, I can't disguise myself...I've managed to stay out of sight so far, but it won't be long before people start waking up and coming outside. 

On my way out, I also grabbed my destroyed wig and reabsorbed all the blood I'd fired out, which took a bit of time. 

"Um, mister, don't your legs hurt? You've been walking for a long time...m-my feet don't hurt much anymore, so I can walk on my own if-...," Began Vella with a look of concern. 

"That's very kind of you, Vella, but there's no need to worry...I'm pretty strong, I've still got plenty of energy to spare," I grinned assuringly.
