章節 15: Teamwork
"How to kill a demon?, this is going to be a lesson on how to get rid of annoying humans. " Mammon said while smiling, he rose his hand up and multiple clones appeared in the air each releasing an elemental attack, Dan kept on watching the scene with attentive eyes and promptly reacted when he saw energy gathering behind Mr. Richard, Mammon appeared and firmly gripped Mr. Richard and was about to try and copy his ability for a second time when claw marks flew at him again, Mammon marely flicked his wrist to get rid of the attack but that split second distraction was worth its effort, Mr. Richard jumped out of Mammon's reach before retaliating with trees he rapidly launched to Mammon's head, Mammon sighed before calling back his clones who were currently fighting Mr. Isaac, when they got close enough, they all turned into masses of fire and destroyed all the trees headed at him but Mr. Richard didn't stop his relentless attacks. If anything, he was just getting started.
Mr. Isaac regrouped with Mr. Richard and Mammon flew in the sky while he wondered what they were about to do, his contemplation was interrupted by spears made out of ice flying in his direction, he dodged it easily and was about to mock their poor attempt of an attack when the same spears flew back at him, "That's impossible, he shouldn't be able to control the ice after it has left him." Mammon thought as he wondered how Mr. Isaac was doing something that has always been considered impossible, Mammon's eyes eventually landed on Mr. Richard who was moving his hands in a weird manner clearly controlling the movement of the spears, 'That explains it, I can't believe I actually got worried, these humans are too weak to hurt me.' Mammon thought before he was forced to focus by the sound of the ice spears changing into spinning buzz saws that began to encircle him, Mr. Isaac released more saws which Mr. Richard controlled fluently, Mammon kept on dodging them but as the numbers Increased he was finding some difficulty in avoiding the attacks, he thought about teleporting but remembered he had to stop being in motion to teleport and that was impossible in that situation, he dodged the projectiles for a few more seconds before he came to a stop.
Do not be mistaken, Mammon didn't choose to stop, his body just didn't move, he looked at Mr. Richard and saw him stretching his hands towards him while smiling, 'Damn that human, this definitely his doing.' Mammon thought while he looked at the person responsible for his situation, he tried to teleport but he couldn't even twitch his eyelid, it was like he was embedded in that position and to add insult to injury, all the buzz saws flew back to Mr. Isaac who compressed all of them forming a pin, he released more ice and compressed it, reducing their size but increasing its density considerably, Mammon was locked in place and a weapon even he didn't feel confident about surviving was forming in his presence, 'I have lost.' Mammon said to himself as he accepted his death, "Maybe not, I can give you more power in exchange for something." a voice suddenly said in Mammon's head, 'In exchange for what?' Mammon asked as he was unsure of who was proposing the deal, "Find out, do we have a deal?" the voice replied, 'Deal.' Mammon said as he made his choice.
