Michael could clearly tell that Lincoln possessed a little bit more energy than Zeke, but that the purity of the origin energy within him was a little bit lower. Both Zeke and Lincoln possessed less origin energy than Kaleb even though his War Rune's refinement degree was lower. Kaleb's origin energy had a higher purification degree as well.
