"Ethan..." Helena whispered, her voice trembling. She swallowed hard as Ethan's current form seemed more like a monster than the Ethan she knew. There were no warm, awe-filled gazes directed at her, no sweet smiles that were always meant for her.
"Is there something wrong with you?" Helena asked again, hoping for an answer.
Unfortunately, Ethan once again just stared at Helena, hesitating, unsure of what to do with the creature before him. Ethan's hand reached out towards Helena but didn't touch her.
The golden-red monster now examined its own hands, which were now adorned with sharp, pointed claws, ready to tear flesh. He was no longer the gentle cake-eating creature. He had transformed into a carnivorous being.
"Aaarrhh!" Ethan suddenly cried out, clutching his head, which was no longer handsome but fierce and terrifying.
