Maya made sure to wake up early today, it had been a week since Nathaniel called for his family meeting and they learned about Miguel, Michael's son. 

It had been a week of silence, Emilia's people had not reported any new activity from Xander's end and it seemed that the man was simply biding his time, waiting for the opportunity to strike.

The anxiety of the wait was evident to everyone, Nathaniel seemed to busy himself with their son more than he usually did. Maya had seen Ezra bury himself in work, coming home only for dinner and then returning to the home office.

Even her own brother, Nico had somehow found himself in the halls of Miller Industries, being put to work by Maya, rather than him pacing in her office. 

She had no idea what Emilia got up to, but she saw the only daughter of the De La Rue family even less. She was probably busy working with the Mafia, trying to figure out what Xander was up to next.
