Maya was about to ask Katerina what she meant when her train of thought was interrupted by loud noises coming from outside.

"It seems our guest has arrived," Katerina said with a mischievous smile as she packed away her things and secured them in an area where it would be safe.

Maya did the same as she cleared her table and made sure she looked as intimidating as possible.

"She'll be too stunned to fully process anything," Katerina said as she gave Maya an encouraging smile, she knew just how nerve-wracking waiting for Cassandra was for Maya.

A soft knock came from the other side of the door, then it opened a little.

"Get your fucking hands off of me!" she could hear Cassandra shout. "Do you have no fucking idea who I am!"

"Vice President Miller," Jay said.

"This is illegal! I'm supposed to be in jail, not being manhandled by thugs like you!" Cassandra shouted.

"Your guest is here," Jay said as he gave Maya a concerned look.
