Silence ensued since Luis didn't answer right away. Only the rustling of the leaves and the distant noises of the animals are heard.

"Hoot. Hoot," the sound of an owl echoed nearby. It's eerie song cut through the silence between the three moon elves.

Ilian is a trembling mess as his mind is playing countless scenarios where the moon elf lord killed them all because of his best friend's impertinence.
