46.42% The Last Immortal Transmigrates After 5,000 Years / Chapter 26: Let the Teaching Begin

章節 26: Let the Teaching Begin

The Mount Song Sect understood the ways of Jianghu very well. They knew that if they wanted to remain within the world, they needed to not only have powerful cultivation and long lifespans, but also powerful martial arts too.

Secret martial arts techniques that could only be used by those who pursued the same path the Mount Song Sect was on. And unfortunately, Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong don't meet that requirement.

Thankfully I'm not just a Mount Song Sect student, but also someone who's spent thousands of years learning and creating martial arts. So I could still teach Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong powerful martial arts to help them survive in Jianghu.

The construction of my dantian had gone smoothly, and thanks to the large amount of qi still within the spiritual core, I managed to create a dantian containing fifty years' worth of pure qi.

It was a feeble dantian in terms of size, but in terms of power and long-term success, it was the best dantian I could have. And now that I had a dantian, it would be a long and arduous path, but once I progress far enough, I would be able to attain my golden core once more.

The Golden Core stage is what allows the martial artist to attain impossibly long lifespans, being so long as to be called immortal.

But now was not the time to fantasize about the Golden Core Stage. Now was the time to train. Before me stood Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong who were both practicing separate martial arts techniques.

On one side was Pyo Kang, whose body type was more compact and long, was practicing a martial art known as the Azure Clouds Sword, a technique that was developed in the future by the Wudang Sect leader.

On the other was Pyo Yong, although he was the same height as his brother, his body type was bulkier and used large defined muscles as if they were armor. Pyo Yong was practicing a fist technique created by me future me, though, I never gave it a name after creating it.

The two of them had grown accustomed to my methods of teaching them martial arts, as I had taught them a few lower-level martial arts during the five months we trained together.

"Pyo Kang, you're trying to force the connection between the seventh and eighth movements again. Pyo Yong, you're putting too much force into the eleventh strike, which is making the thirteenth strike slower than it should be."

"Thank you, Master!" Both replied in unison after stopping their techniques.

"The both of you have trained enough for now, go replenish your internal energy and think about how you can fix the problems I stated to you."

To my surprise, after I had finished forming my dantian, Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong requested to become my disciples.

The five months we spent training wasn't enough to sway their hearts into becoming my disciples, but after I showed them my strength while fighting the Fifth Elder of the Wudang sect and killing a high-ranking warrior of the infamous Namgung clan, the two seemed to have made up their minds.

But now that they were my disciples, their progression as well as my own would go a lot faster than it used to. With only another year and a half left to train in this forest, our collective progress will shock the entire Jianghu. Not even the mysteries of the future would be able to stop us.

---

The Namgung clan's hidden base, something that had eluded all Zhongyuan for decades. Only those from the Namgung clan knew the secret phrase and entrance location, as they were instructed to never speak of either, even if their life was on the line.

But it was within this hidden base that a certain old man fuming, destroying every piece of furniture in sight.

"That damned child! I should have killed him when I had the chance!"

Within hours of the middle-aged man's death, a worm within the Namgung clan's hidden base exploded in a wooden box. The only sign that the worm ever existed was the black blood splattered on the box, and the ear-splitting scream it let loose before it's death.

Namgung Jiwoo and the current Namgung clan leader were the first to notice the worm's death, as they were discussing the next stages of the clan's plan.

Namgung Jiwoo and the middle-aged man were always trying to one up each other, evident as both of them decided to try and bring back the spiritual core of a dragon and Imoogi.

But to think that the both of them failed because of the same ten-year-old child that could have been killed months ago, it lit a rageful fire within Namgung Jiwoo.

"Leader! Give me the order, I'll go kill that child right now!"

"Jiwoo, calm yourself." The clan leader uttered quietly, not even turning to face the man he spoke to. "You failed to bring back the Mount Song Sect's treasured dragon core. You don't have the right to make a request right now."

"Leader! That child will keep interfering with our plans if he's left alive! He needs to be taken care of immediately!"

"Namgung Jiwoo."

The man spoke in a cold and low voice, keeping his gaze on the outside world that his window showed. Namgung Jiwoo paused; it had been several years since he had heard this type of tone from the leader.

"Y-yes, Leader?"

"I said, you have no right to make any requests after your failure." The leader's voice replied coldly, "You are to go and bring back the core of the dragon turtle, if you understand, leave my quarters immediately."

Namgung Jiwoo vanished from the clan leader's quarters before he finished his sentence. He had been shown the fury of the leader once before, and he would make sure he would never have to see it again.

"Such a brat, to think he would embarrass my second in command and kill one of my elders. I'll have to take special care of him."
