Charlotte's expression changed to an absurd one at my words.

But then, realization dawned upon her, and her confusion morphed into surprise. A chuckle slipped past her lips as she apologized.

"Hahaha. Forgive me, Master. I forgot for a second, but now I remember why you're my favorite."

"Why?" 

"Secret, hehehe."

She winked and playfully zipped her lips. 

Knowing her secret already, I didn't tease her more. I simply nodded with a smile and turned my gaze back to the field.

My attention fixated on the three girls, where an air of gloom hung as if someone had just died there.

'Wait! Heather has, pfft~hahaha.'

I laughed out loud inwardly, and a subtle sneer formed on my lips.

'You reap what you sow.'

There was no point in crying over spilled milk for them now.

But I knew it wouldn't be so easy to get past this situation.
