After the gala, five short interviews with different reporters and multiple photographs, Chi Lian and Muyang returned home. The old master and madam had arrived ahead of them and they were enthusiastically discussing Yan Feng's theft openly. 

Muyang went straight up to the bedroom to change and go to the university while Chi Lian briefly stopped by the living room to check on the children. Neither one of them was there. 

She was pulled to sit down on the sofa by the old madam who seemed to have many questions. 

"Chi-Chi, it must be a relief to know that the lotus blessing is going to be returned you after two weeks of viewing. I remember how we all gathered at your parent's house after the attack that night pondering on the reason for the attack. How could it have been related to the Yan's?" she asked, very bewildered at the ugly truth.
