章節 409: Judas of the year.

In the morning, Chi Lian had just drifted off to sleep on the couch in her office when someone tapped her and she slowly tried to open her eyes unwillingly. After spending all night creating a new stage, doing new rehearsals and perfecting three different acts in the spring gala. She decided to include the song into the galaxy on the list of performances. Peter Pan was going to perform it after cross talk. It was extra work but she was sure that it would be worth it at the end of the day.

She turned around, facing her back to whoever the unwelcome intruder was. 

She was tapped again before she could comfortably settle in. This time round, her name was called.

"Chi-Chi," the voice called. She recognized it as her mother's voice so she chose to stay still. Maybe if she stayed perfectly still her mother would walk away and let her be. 

Still, her mother shook her once again persistently. 

"Want to sleep." she mumbled.
