That was the only thing Islinda knew at that moment. It scorched through her veins, her world narrowed only to the sharp, burning sensation of Aldric's bite. Whatever venom Aldric let into her system, it was burning her from the inside out. 

However, Aldric being the bastard he was didn't stop there. He pulled back and Islinda was able to breathe a little, not that it made any difference, the pain was still there. However, that relief didn't last long because Aldric bit into another spot on her neck and Islinda thought she was going to die. 

Like a fucking animal, Aldric tore through her neck. Another searing pain passed through that region, but unlike the first time, it didn't hurt as much. However, that was when everything changed. Islinda's shout of pain turned into a moan as 

she felt a rush of heat rush to her core.
