It was amusing the way Islinda's behavior took a swift turn and her once suspicious expression changed to admiration as she covered the distance between them in a twinkle of an eye, taking Maxi's hand she had once ignored in hers, "You're Issac's wife?" The question slipped from her mouth before she could think about it. 

"Issac's wife?" Maxi was dumbfounded, her brows furrowing slightly, "What has that idiot been telling you?" 

"Huh? You're not?" Islinda was stunned, before she flushed with embarrassment. This is a good reason why she shouldn't get ahead of herself. 

"No, I'm not," Maxi said seriously, only for a wolfish grin to cross her features the next seconds, "But I like where this is going." 

Islinda was taken aback by that statement, confused the more. Were they together or not? She needed a clear answer. And then Maxi winked at her suggestively and she realized what was going on, Issac was playing hard to get.
