"Tell Alan that the Vice-President has come to meet!"

The person said. The person turned out to be Darren, the lackey of Vice-President. He was accompanying Vice-President Adrian to visit Alan.

Evelyn thought that since someone of the status as Vice-President had come, they couldn't ignore them. Of course, he would first need to ask Alan's permission.

"Sir -"

"I heard!"

Alan said, interrupting Evelyn.

It would be weird if Alan didn't hear after how loud Darren was.

Alan thought. He was going to check whether they were the culprit behind what happened to his parent company but it seemed like his enemy couldn't wait and brought himself to him. 

Alan wasn't stupid and could instantly connect the dots. He assumed that they were there to either threaten him or demand something from him.
