The whole place went quiet after Patricia was killed. Her dead body was cleared by some guards, while Gaius left with them and Lord Lucas who happened to be discussing a discreet issue with Gaius.

Magdalene was already done sobbing and she removed her face from her palms not crying anymore. She was more worried about belle who sat on the floor with a lost expression.

"Belle" Magdalene leaned down to her.

"Don't! Don't touch me!" She yelled at Magdalene in disgust and hate.

"Belle don't be like this. I need you and you need me, we have to stay strong and be there for each other. Papa needs us Belle" Magdalene reasoned.

"Papa doesn't need you. He needs me. He doesn't need the person who's responsible for Mama's death!" She yelled at Magdalene. She stood up and Magdalene did too.

"How can you blame me for this. I did nothing to her while she just plotted and hated on me for no reason yet you're pinning the blame on me. Unbelievable!" Magdalene was speechless.
