[Earth Space Station.]
A frantic panic broke loose as the heat signatures got closer to the Space Station, moving at a moderate pace. As much as it was a horrifying event, most of the scientists remained mesmerized at the technology the 'aliens' used. They received heat signatures but whenever they tried scanning for tangible visuals, they wouldn't get any visible images. Almost as if a cloaking effect was equipped.
" Fascinating. Not only were they able to master space travel, but they were able to move large vehicles through the vacuum of space and even cloak them." He smiled. Even though the presence of Death was felt by not only him but everyone in the Space Station, he didn't let it stop him from admiring the strange scientific advancements the 'aliens' had accomplished.
In the midst of the scientist's observations, the General burst through the room and dragged him out throwing him into the last of the escape pods.
"Sir, what are you doing? This is the last one. We can both take it to Earth and fight with the others."
The General ejected the space pod while the scientist spoke, not wanting to hear another word coming from him again.
" If anyone's staying, it's me." He said, being the only human left on the Space Station. "I must atone for what I did. It's my fault for not listening to you earlier when you noticed this so I'll be the ones to deal with these damned things." He headed back to the control room as he watched the heat signals slowly pass Jupiter and Mars.
He sat there in the empty room, waiting for the heat signals to get closer as he kept his eyes on the monitors in case any unforeseen occurrences happened.

[ArkVille Military Base Research Facility of Human DNA and Genetical Engineering.]
The Five Crates attached to the escape pods were taken into the Research Facility where they were and duplicated immediately. The Crates included serums that were the product of over thirty years of research-based in the field of Genetics. The Serums were contained inside tubes with different colors, each color signifying the different Genotypes that they were supposed to be used on.
Since there was the underlying threat of Earth being invaded, it was decided that the Serums would be used for Public Consumption. If it were gatekept for the Rich and Powerful, who were the intended target, it could shorten the chances of survival, henceforth the reason why everyone needed to at least ingest them.
"We have already duplicated a billion of the Serums. Duplication Production is still ongoing."

[Meanwhile in ArkVille and the rest of the World]
Military personnel across the globe were busy setting up large, square-shaped bases in the open, empty fields in diverse cities and countryside. The general public was still in the dark, not knowing what was happening, despite them watching millions of soldiers setting up temporary bases.
While this happened, Ace and the other students, teachers, and pretty much the world spent their time either on television watching the news or on online media as they tried to look for answers. These sudden strange behaviors from the military scared a few people, creating images that the worst was going to happen.
Watching what was going on through his phone, Ace was attacked with a painful headache, forcing him to sit for a while. When he did, he passed out for a quick second while the same image from the previous night played out again in his mind. Three large ships moving through the vacuum of space, floated over Earth as black, egg-like pods departed from the ships and landed on Earth. Creatures shaped like large, muscular lizard men came out from the pods and began firing at the humans, capturing a few as they further advanced into the city. "We're coming for you."
"A vision," he frantically got up on his feet, his body still shaking from yet another terrifying image playing out. "I...I need to get out of here…find Cherry. I need to find Cherry."
Panicking, frightened, and scared out of his mind, Ace rose up quickly, trying to make his way to his sister's classroom. Suddenly, the boy's airways began to constrict. His vision grew blurry with his mouth feeling as if something were clogging it.
"An attack…now?" he wheezed for air while rushing for his inhaler. "Wh…where did I put it?"
"Looking for this?" Jason stood next to him, swinging Ace's inhaler from hand to hand as revenge for getting him in trouble the previous day.
"Please…I need my inhaler….Give it back." Ace pleaded desperately, his face growing pale quickly as the lack of oxygen to his organs started to alter his pigmentation.
"Nah, I don't think so." Jason teased, making sure to keep the inhaler just out of Ace's reach. "Not yet at least. You have to suffer for what you did yesterday."

[Back at the International Space Station.]
The heat signals finally passed Mars and were now between the red planet and the Earth Space Station. The General, being the only person in the facility, remained confused for he could see the heat signals clearly on the monitors but when he looked outside, there was nothing.
'Could this be an error of some sort? Could all of this be false?' He contemplated within himself, having second thoughts for a moment.
Right before his eyes, a blue streak of energy moved backward, uncovering three spaceships that, according to the scientist's hypothesis, were hidden by a cloaking mechanism as three spaceships revealed themselves. Two smaller spaceships were on the sides with the largest in the middle. Frozen in fear, the General remained motionless with his eyes fixated on the ship's unveiling before his eyes.
'This is it for me,' he accepted defeat. 'If I am going to die, I must take a few lives with me.'

||Commencing Attack||
Sitting with a joystick in his hands, the General opened heavy fire on the ships from the fifty-meter-wide cannons located on the East, West, and Central sections of the Space Station. The blasts were powered by nuclear fission energy, the source of the ship's energy which had been functional since day one.
The blasts damaged a few sections of the 'alien ships', chipping apart a few pieces of metal. In as much as this happened, the 'aliens' were not ready to go down without a fight.
A smaller but longer cannon descended at the bottom of the second ship, and before the General could make sense of it, his eyes were met with a single shot of energy. A single shot was all it took to destroy the Space Station, killing the General in the process.
Earth's first line of defense was down, and all it took was one blast, one blast that decimated the station as if it were paper placed before a roaring flame. Meanwhile on Earth, the three ships became visible to everyone across specific parts of the globe, creating with it global tension and senseless panic. As the ships got closer, the Military Personnel from every country, every division, every Unit, and every Class were deployed, their weaponry ready to fire.
In the meantime, the rest of the soldiers rushed to their respective cities and countryside, gathering as many people as they could and squeezing them all into the bases they set up. Moving from door to door, house to house, neighborhood to neighborhood, the soldiers used mild to extreme force to evacuate as many as they could in a short amount of time, depending on the types of people.
As this was happening, tiny black dots were seen covering the sky. At first, people mistook them for birds flying away from the mounting chaos but as soon as one of the 'black dots' crash landed into a building, they shouted and screamed in fear as they trampled over each other and dashed for the bases, having confirmed what was in them.
"SOUND THE ALARMS."
All across the world, sirens and alarms were sounded, indicating that a great disaster had fallen upon them. Many desperately tried to reach for the bases but they were either stepped on and killed, or hit by the black pods that rained down on the Earth like hail.
In ArkVille High, loud sirens resonated as military vehicles rushed into the school compound. Soldiers paraded frantically into the school building and shouted for the students to evacuate the building as fast as they could.
Ace, who was still on the ground in the middle of his asthma attack, was trampled over by his own classmates who joined the others in a frantic jolt out of the building.
"I knew it. It was aliens," one classmate shouted, pointing at the Space Ships which were visible from where they pointed. "ALIENS!! IT'S AN INVASION. EVERYONE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!"
"I NEED EVERYBODY OUT OF THIS BUILDING, NOW!!" Everybody, excluding Ace. As if he were a ghost, everyone ran over and past the boy, leaving him alone in the room with his inhaler being kicked around.
Dragging his body, Ace got close enough when suddenly, a loud crashing sound blasted through his ears, followed by an explosion of dust flooding his body. Looking up, the boy's eyes were met with a pair of glowing, narrow eyes on a silhouette that was accented by the dust around it.
The silhouette was as tall as the average person with a more bulky build…and a tail. Not to mention 'green eyes.'
"ACE!!" His sister called out, standing at a distance away from him and the green eyes being. "GET AWAY FROM MY BROTHER!!"
Whatever it was with green eyes aimed a weapon at Cherry, blasting her with an energy pulse that paralyzed her body. She wasn't dead, but she wasn't moving either.
"CHERRY…" Ace cried…and then got a blast too that knocked him out immediately, followed by their bodies being dragged into the black pod that crushed into the school.
