Ludwig wished he could see what was happening on that strangely named flying ship of Oliveira. Not that he couldn't—but he noticed already that Cael seemed to be aware of his scrying spells.

Such sensitivity was far from normal—but neither was Oliveira or the company he kept.

Ludwig still had other, less direct methods of gathering information, but they paled in comparison. They also didn't work somewhere as protected as Sky High.

Still… It was hard to miss the ship taking flight towards the North Pole, just like Ludwig didn't miss Astnar and Luna—two strongest mages in the entire Jotunheim—to leave on it.

"I can't believe it… To choose these arrogant abominations above humans? To willingly work together with that… that wretched man?!" Ludwig hissed in the privacy of his study.
