Hesitating for only a moment, I hurried toward the road to see what was happening. I needed to help that person, whoever it was that had been hurt. And I was elated to see that Reia was already running toward the street with me. I hadn't even needed to ask her to follow me.

"I hope they're OK." She said as she skidded to a halt at the edge of the street. There were still cars trying to get by, and if she hadn't stopped then she was likely to have been hit and seriously injured.

"Me too." I said as I craned to get a better look. There were already people stopping to look, to film it with their phones, but not helping. Most of them just watched on or looked intently as they passed by. No one was there to help the people yet.
