Well, last night had been our big night, and now we needed to go through with something else. I didn't really mean for this to happen, but it was how life worked. Especially when you met your mate and all that. Well, for the time being, we were just riding in the car silently, on our way to where we needed to be.

We pulled up in front of the Alpha house about five in the afternoon the day after Valentine's Day. We had just had our first official date, even though we had been mated for a little while longer than that. And now Naz was going to meet my parents. It was time for them to see who I was spending my life with.

My mom and dad were standing on the porch when I pulled the car to a stop. My younger brother and sister were likely still inside the house, not interested in what their brother was doing at the moment.
