My days were crammed packed now. I spent every morning and lunch break in the diner, waiting to see if that mysterious mate of mine would show up. She didn't. I had all my classes that I had needed to attend. I needed to maintain my grades after all. And I had my internship, where I had a lot of work to do for Ethan.

There was a lot for me to do, and I wasn't at all ready for some of them. It was hard for me sometimes, but I was doing my best to stay ahead of it all. I needed to be there for my family, my friends, and my boss. Especially now, with the massive case that he had just taken on. 

"Reagan!?" He had come to me that Monday morning. 

"Yeah?" I looked up from the computer to see what was happening. 

"We have something massive to deal with." There was a light in his eyes, determination mixed with conviction.

"What is it?" I asked him, wondering what had happened.
